Whispering Sons | Wall

Whispering Sons | Endless Party
Whispering Sons | Endless Party

Whispering Sons is a Belgian post-punk group that gleans inspiration from 80’s bands such at The Cure and Cocteau Twins, 90’s shoegaze artists Slowdive and modern groups The KVB and A Place to Bury Strangers. Taking their name from an obscure song from Moral, they interpret these inspirations with a striking familiarity. Their sound, driven by ringing guitars and pulsing bass lines is framed with sweeping synth lines and frenetic drum beats, creating a huge wall of dark, ethereal, edgey sounds that are distinctively modern. The powerful vocals of Fenne Kuppens invokes the majesty and fearlessness reminiscent of Siouxsie Sioux. Rounding out their lineup includes; Sander Hermans (synths), Kobe Lijnen (guitar), Lander Paesen (bass) & Sander
Pelsmaekers (drums).
