Sleep Party People aka Brian Batz

Danish musician Brian Batz, the inspired engineer of Sleep Party People, found the sound of the old battered piano in his apartment, coupled with a freaky electronic alteration of his recorded voice, created an eerie, hypnotic sound. Using these disparate sources to creating haunting melodies somewhere between the worlds of being asleep and being awake.

He released his first self-titled album in 2012 each song an amazing otherworldly story.

Strawberry Tongue Radio is excited to give you a sneak peak into his new full-length release, Floating, slated for June 2014. We are featuring the song In Another World from the new album in addition to We Were Drifting on a Sad Song from his 2012 release.
