Eclectic Underground

It’s always an honor at Strawberry Tongue to introduce new artists to the playlist. I’ve met so many amazing musicians over the years, many who I consider friends. But, what happens when some of my favorites band together to form an eclectic collective? Magic, my friends. Sweet, beautiful magic.

Comprised of artists from points all over the globe, this roving band of artists has formed a unique bond connecting their unique styles, indie aesthetic, and mutual respect into a beautiful sampler. Texture & Light from Vancouver brings his

Scottish shoegazers, Audiodeluxe, starts out this collection with their soaring, swooping track “Treasure.”

Texture & Light, a project of Vancouver-based Trevor Refix Mervyn, brings his synth driven, slow-burner “Leaning In.” This densely layered track is a mantra of finding your inner self and the strength it possesses.

Dead Amps from Colorado provide their synthpop track “You Know More,” a

Erin At Eleven, the project of Glasglow native Erin offers up her sparkling pop track “Only Friends.”

Ghostly Beard, a Montreal-based electro-prog-pop track “Frozen in Time.”

Benji24,  closes out this sampler with delicious, melodic instrumental track “Imaginary Meaning.”
