B-Movie is one of those bands from the early 80’s that I have fond memories. Formed in 1979 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, the band released a handful of singles before disbanding in the mid-80’s including Remembrance Day, Marilyn Dreams and perhaps, their best known single Nowhere Girl.

After a long hiatus and band members playing in bands such as One, Slaughterhouse Five, Laughing Gas and collaborations with ex-Bauhuas lead singer Peter Murphy, they reunited in 2004 and 2006 for one-off shows.

In 2012, the band released their first song in 22 years, called Echoes. Now in 2014, Echoes is issued as part of a full release called The Age of Illusion, released on the German label, no em blanc.

You can find Echoes and their 80’s hit Nowhere Girl now on Strawberry Tongue Radio. Enjoy!
